Inobiz was founded in 1996 as a stock corporation by two Swedish IT-inventors. In these days only large companies had invested in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), but that was about to change.
The innovative idea behind Inobiz’ software concept was originally presented to the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) in 1996. Their extreme positive reaction/feedback together with the encouragement and support they showed was what led to the foundation of Inobiz.

Inobiz vision was to make it possible and practicable for any business to integrate electronic data. To reach this goal Inobiz developed a platform for file format conversion that, above the competitors, was easy to use, fast and reliable. The new product quickly attracted attention both in Sweden and in the rest of Europe.
Even if file conversion were a major hit back in the end of the 20th century it is even more critical in today’s business world. As technology enables simplified processes between: functions, departments, companies and countries, it is essential that the various systems and applications are correctly integrated. This is what Inobiz is best at.
